Tbilisi International Airport is situated less than 20 km outside of the center of Tbilisi and is the country’s busiest airport. The modern international terminal at the airport was completed in 2007 and offers an ample selection of places to eat and drink if you need to reenergize. Those looking to pick up some cheap goods can also browse through the airport’s duty-free shopping section, while the airport is also home to the Primeclass lounge which offers buffet food, free Wi-Fi and much more. Perhaps the easiest way to get to your destination is to hop in a taxi just outside the airport as they are available 24 hours a day, although the airport also has its own railway station with trains going into central Tbilisi. The only airport in Dubai currently offering flights to Tbilisi is Dubai International Airport, Dubai’s primary airport, capable of handling over 90 million passengers a year. Comprised of three terminals, the airport is known for its vast selection of shops, restaurants and cafes available in each terminal to keep travelers happy while waiting for flights. Whether you want the latest designer brands or want to pick up some gifts for friends, Dubai International Airport has it all. Many utilize the Dubai Metro network to get to the airport as both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are linked to the Metro - however, those flying with flydubai will need to get to Terminal 2 via the free shuttle bus service or by taxi. There are also a number of luxurious airport lounges available to passengers waiting at the airport offering excellent food and comfortable seating.
