The main airport in Venice is Venice Marco Polo Airport which is located 8km from the city center. Nearby is Treviso Airport, 30km from Venice but this airport mostly deals with low-cost regional flights. Emirates offers the only direct flights from Dubai to Venice, via Dubai International Airport, not to be confused with Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai's second airport.

Venice Marco Polo Airport is a single-terminal airport offering all of the amenities and facilities you would expect of a modern airport. At the airport travelers can enjoy a wide selection of places to eat and drink including many cafes, while you will also find a sizeable range of retail and convenience stores at the airport along with duty free shopping. Once you have arrived at the airport you can use the local rail network to reach Mestre which is just opposite Venice. There are also bus services from the airport going to numerous destinations in the region.

Dubai International Airport is the main airport in Dubai and also the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger traffic. At the airport there is a huge range of shops with everything from designer and luxury brands to duty free shopping and basic travel shops. You can also enjoy a wide selection of places to eat and drink with everything from world-class restaurants to cheap eats available. The airport itself is comprised of three passenger terminals and is very easy to get to from central Dubai as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, although in order to reach Terminal 2 you will need to use the free shuttle bus provided.
