Dubai International Airport is the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger traffic handling over 80 million travelers every year. The airport itself consists of three passenger terminals which are all simple to travel between if you need to transfer between flights. Once you have landed in Dubai you can reach central Dubai on the Dubai Metro network from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, or you can just as easily find taxis available outside each terminal. A wealth of amenities can be found at Dubai International Airport so you won’t be lacking things to do or places to eat. Extensive duty free shopping is available and many leading designer and luxury brands have stores at the airport. You can also find a wide selection of places to eat and drink ranging from simple fast food to high-end restaurants and everything in between. Airport Information - Departing
Tehran's main airport is Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, often shortened to Tehran IKIA. The airport currently consists of one operation passenger terminal (Terminal 1), although two more terminals are under development including Terminal 2 which is scheduled to open imminently. The planned Terminal 3 is projected to handle up to 20 million travelers a year and is scheduled to open in 2-3 years. At the airport you will find all of the amenities and facilities you would expect of a large airport including multiple places to eat and drink as well as a varied collection of shops.
What to Expect in Dubai
In Dubai you can expect the weather to be hot no matter what time of year it is, although between November and February temperatures are a lot cooler compared to the rest of the year. Although many nationals can enter Dubai without needing a visa, all Iranian travelers will need to arrange a visa in advance before flying.
