The airport itself consists of three passenger terminals which are all simple to travel between if you need to transfer between flights. Airport Information - Departing

Tehran's main airport is Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, often shortened to Tehran IKIA. The airport currently consists of one operation passenger terminal (Terminal 1), although two more terminals are under development including Terminal 2 which is scheduled to open imminently. The planned Terminal 3 is projected to handle up to 20 million travelers a year and is scheduled to open in 2-3 years. At the airport you will find all of the amenities and facilities you would expect of a large airport including multiple places to eat and drink as well as a varied collection of shops.
