Airport Information - Arriving

Dubai International Airport is the main airport in Dubai and is located only 5 km from the city center. The airport handles close to 90 million travelers every year and is made up of three passenger terminals. Transport connections at the airport are excellent as it is connected directly to the Dubai Metro and is served by buses. Alternatively, taxis are readily available and there are several car rental companies on site. The airport itself is known for its fantastic amenities and services, so you won’t be short on activities to keep yourself busy. Along with a huge variety of shops, restaurants and cafés, the airport offers other luxuries like rest zones, world-class airport lounges and free Wi-Fi access.

Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport situated around 40 km from central Dubai. When you have arrived at the airport you will find taxis outside of the terminal and there is a bus service running into Dubai. Also, there are car rental options. While the airport doesn’t offer quite as many options as Dubai International Airport, you’ll still find all of the essentials you would need including restaurants, cafés and stores as well as free Wi-Fi access.

Airport Information - Departing

Tribhuvan International Airport is located just 6 km from the center of Kathmandu and is made up of two passenger terminals, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights. If you don’t plan on taking a taxi to the airport you can find public buses available, although they are frequently overcrowded and uncomfortable. All of the basics are available at the airport so you can find somewhere to eat or grab a drink or pick up some last-minute souvenirs before catching your flight. In addition to this, you can also benefit from free Wi-Fi access during your stay at the airport.
