Airport Information - Departing

Newcastle International Airport is situated less than 10km away from the center of Newcastle so you can easily reach the airport by taxi, although the airport is also connected to Newcastle by public bus and on the Tyne & Wear Metro. While you wait for your flight at the airport there are plenty of things to do including numerous shops to browse through and pick up some last-minute products as well as a range of cafes and eateries. You are also able to access free Wi-Fi for up to 45 minutes at a time, while those with children can visit the games room at the airport.
