Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the world’s busiest airports offering a spectacular range of amenities and opportunities. The airport itself is home to three passenger terminals, with Terminal 3 being the home of all Emirates operations. Once you have landed at the airport you can get on the Dubai Metro from Terminal 3 to reach the center of the city, although taxis are available if you would prefer. During your stay at the airport there are a wide range of restaurants, cafes and shops including duty-free stores available to help you pass the time. The airport is also home to many luxurious amenities such as spa centers, airport lounges and even Zen gardens in Terminal 3. You are also able to stay connected with free Wi-Fi available throughout the airport.

Airport Information - Departing

Venice Marco Polo Airport is the main international gateway into Venice situated around 8km from the center of the city. The airport itself is made up of a single passenger terminal and offers connections to and from Venice in the form of buses and trains. At the airport you can enjoy a wide range of amenities and facilities so there’s plenty to do to pass the time. As well as a broad selection of eateries and cafes, you can find various shops or do a bit of duty-free shopping before flying out. The airport also offers travelers free Wi-Fi for up to 6 hours at a time which you can access on your electronic device or at an internet terminal in the airport.

What to Expect in Dubai

In Dubai the weather is hot throughout the year and certainly much warmer than what you are used to in Venice, even over the winter when temperatures remain at pleasant highs. Italian citizens and other EU nationals are able to enter Dubai without requiring a visa so there’s no need to get one before flying out. In Dubai you can easily get around and explore the city using the Dubai Metro network although renting a car is also common.
