Arriving In Angola
Quatro de Fevereiro Airport is the main airport in Angola located around 10 km away from the capital Luanda. If you are looking to book flights from the UAE to Angola, it is possible to make the journey directly to Luanda out of Dubai. Currently the only airline operating flights on this route is Emirates, the flag carrier of Dubai, with all flights based out of Dubai International Airport. Angola Travel Information
Most nationals including those from the UAE will have to apply for a visa first in order to travel to Angola. In Angola you can generally expect hot weather for most of the year, while rainfall will depend on where you are visiting. If you are heading into Luanda there is a brief rainy season between March and April, while the coolest time of year is between June and September which still sees average highs of around 25 degrees. Be advised that Angola is three hours behind the UAE, while the currency used is the Angolan kwanza which you will not be allowed to take out to the country with you.
