Arriving In Amritsar

Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport is the main airport serving Amritsar located around 10 km from the city center. The airport itself consists of two passenger terminals and offers a decent range of amenities including duty-free shopping, retail shops and a few snack bars. If you plan on getting a taxi once you have arrived you can go to a prepaid taxi counter to get a fair price, although there are also local buses available if you are on a budget.
