Arriving In Barbados
Grantley Adams International Airport is the primary airport in Barbados set within a single passenger terminal. During your time at the airport you can look forward to plenty of places to eat and drink as well as a selection of shops including duty-free shopping, while the airport also provides travelers with free Wi-Fi and even has its own spa on site. The airport is around 13 km away from the capital Bridgetown and is linked to the city by bus services if you don’t want to pay for a taxi when you have touched down.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Barbados, you will not be able to make the journey directly as there are no airlines providing nonstop flights from anywhere in the UAE. However, the airport has direct connections to a few destinations with direct flights from the UAE including Frankfurt and Manchester, so it will conveniently be possible to make the journey with only one transfer.

Although certain nationals will be able to enter Barbados without a visa, UAE nationals will have to apply for a visa first before making the journey. Barbados experiences a wet season between June and November, while the driest period of the year is from December to May. Remember that the country is eight hours behind the UAE, so be sure to plan your journey accordingly and wind back your clocks when you land.
