Many choose to visit Dhaka when the weather is more pleasant from November to February and when rainfall is minimal. Although this is the peak tourism season, it is still possible to find cheap flights to Dhaka if you book early enough.

A number of nationalities are granted visa-free access to Bangladesh but this does not include those from the UAE. Nationals from the UAE are able to acquire a visa upon arriving in the country. The visa is valid for a period of up to 30 days and can be obtained at the airport. The currency used in Bangladesh is the Bangladeshi Taka, while Bangladesh is 2 hours ahead of the UAE so make sure you put your clocks forward.
