However, the airport has plenty of connections which would enable UAE-based travelers to fly to Liberia with only a single transfer.

At Roberts International Airport you will find only the bare essentials when it comes to facilities, so make sure you bring everything you need with you in order to avoid disappointment. The airport does offer duty-free shopping on site, so you can pass the time by browsing through the latest designer and luxury products. When your flight has touched down at the airport you can find taxis available just outside of the terminal - it is recommended to negotiate a fare before the journey so that you get a fair price as taxis are not metered.

Most nationals including those from the UAE will have to make a visa application before being allowed to travel to Liberia. In Liberia temperatures remain relatively consistent over the course of the year, although the hottest time of year is from January until April when you can expect average highs of around 32 degrees. Be advised that there is a prolonged rainy season in the region which commences in May and continues through until November, so you may want to visit either side of this period for the best weather. You will need to change up your money to the Liberian dollar when visiting, although be advised that US dollars are widely accepted around the country due to its links to the United States. The country is four hours behind the UAE so don’t forget to put your clocks back when you arrive.
