Why You Should Visit Munich
Germany’s third largest city is also one of its most beautiful with many historic buildings and monuments throughout the city, making it a paradise for sightseers. Arriving In Munich
Munich Airport is the second busiest airport in Germany located less than 30 km from Munich. The airport itself offers an excellent range of amenities and facilities across its two passenger terminals and is also home to the Munich Airport Center, a large commercial complex which connects the two terminals. When you have landed at the airport there are plenty of ways to get into central Munich including on the S-Bahn network. Renting a car in Munich is also an option. As well as various retail, designer and duty-free shops to explore, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés available and you can also connect to free Wi-Fi during your stay.
Travelers coming from the UAE to Munich have the option of flying out of Dubai or Abu Dhabi. If you want to fly with Emirates you can depart from Dubai International Airport, while Etihad Airways offers flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Munich Travel Information
As Germany is in the Schengen Area you won’t have to arrange for a visa if you are a UAE national. In Germany the currency is the Euro like many other EU member states, while the country is two hours behind the UAE so don’t forget to roll back your clocks when you arrive. In Munich you can conveniently get around on the city’s extensive public transport network, although there are plenty of car rental agencies available at Munich airport if you wish to have your own vehicle.
