When to Visit Prague

The Prague weather can be quite cold but does warm up considerably over the summer, so those used to the heat may want to visit sometime between April and September. The busiest period for visitors to the city is in July and August, so if you want a bit of a quieter experience you may want to visit either side of this period. Even though it gets very cold, Prague can be a wonderful and charming place over the winter and snowfall is common. Cheap flights to Prague tend to be available all year round - just be sure to book well in advance for the best prices.

Flights to Prague

The main airport serving Prague is Vaclav Havel Airport Prague which is situated 10km outside of the city center. There are three different carriers offering flights from Dubai to Prague - Emirates, flydubai and SmartWings. You can also travel directly to Prague from Sharjah with Air Arabia. Getting from the airport into the center of Prague is possible by public bus, airport shuttle or taxi and only takes around 30 minutes with normal traffic, although traffic conditions can often be rather bad during the morning and evening rush hours.
