Can I get a direct flight to Samoa?

Arriving In Samoa

The main international airport serving Samoa is Faleolo International Airport which is located around 40 km from the capital Apia. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Samoa directly, it is not currently possible as there are no carriers providing nonstop flights. However, it is possible to travel to Samoa with only a single stopover as the airport has a few connections abroad.

At Faleolo International Airport you will find a basic range of amenities to meet your needs. Alongside a couple of eateries on site, you can find souvenir and travel shops to get your essentials. When you have landed at the airport you can use buses to travel around if you are on a budget, although there are plenty of taxis available just outside of the airport if you would rather reach your destination directly.

Nationals from the UAE who are traveling to Samoa are able to enter the country on a visa-free basis for up to 60 days. In the country temperatures remain consistent over the course of the year with average highs of around 30 degrees so you can expect plenty of sunshine and hot weather no matter what time of year you visit. However, be advised that there is a prolonged rainy season beginning in October and continuing through until March, so you may want to visit when there is less rainfall. In Samoa the currency you will need is the Samoan tala, while the country is 10 hours ahead of the UAE.
