Fabulous property in the high lands of Kenya

We had our first meal as a tour group to Kenya in this hotel’s restaurant.
The location of the hotel is very charming and the over all ambience of the place is great.
Being located in Kenyan high lands the weather was very pleasant.
The food at the restaurant was fabulous and staff very smiling

Fantastic and Charming Lodge

Our stay at the Outspan was unforgettable. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the restaurant and common areas are warm and welcoming with beautiful wood accents and old world architecture. Mostly though, the staff was so friendly, attentive, and professional. Of particular note was our private tour of Paxtu, the Baden Powell home and museum. Our guide, Benson, who curates and cares for the museum was very well-informed and personable. He took a lot of time sharing information about the history of the Outspan and Paxtu with us. His love of the place and its history shone through. It was a highlight of our stay. Thank you to everyone at the Outspan for making our stay so wonderful.

A wonderful experience

Tranquil, well equipped. An experience you won't forget.
Big rooms, perfect climate for Europeans.
Beautiful garden, views and surroundings.
Perfect starting point for Treetops!
There is no fitting choice to when I visited so the mention of February 2019 is fake!
Advice to Tripadvisor: Extend the timespan!
