Great experience, good hotel
We enjoyed and embraced our stay here. We found the hotel to be nice and clean with our room seen to every day. We weren't told about the wifi or hotel events on arrival, had to discover this ourselves.
We found the pool area had way too many palm trees and caused too much shading so following the sun became a tedious task. There's plenty of loungers but if you're not up and out by 8ish then you probably won't get any. Many loungers are reversed and not attended all day by some ignorant guests. The hotel do their best to police this but are not strict enough.
We hand B&B and found breakfast to be nice, there is an omelette station where you can get fried eggs and bacon as well. The local restaurant aren't of great standard including the ones in the playa plaza. As it's not very touristy some locals speak little if no English and we struggled on occasions to get the correct food or drinks.
Happy hour is a must. When you get 2 for 1 from 6 to 7. Average cocktail is €8 and a large beer €4.50. The food at lunch by the bar was nice and reasonably priced. There isn't any music by the pool not even when it's happy hour which would be nice.
We took a trip to Vera town which isn't worth the effort. Cost €20 by taxi there & €1.50 each by bus back. Better going to Garrucha by bus on Friday when the market is on

Overall the hotel, pool and beach were good. The hotel is a bit dated and needs a refresh. The hotel and pool area were very clean and well maintained.

Good but could be excellent
My second visit to this hotel.The hotel is old and is in serious need of a refurb.The restaurant food offering is average .I would recommend you don’t waste your money on half board as there are much better food offerings outside of the hotel.
The plus points are the staff and animation teams and the maids do a good job of keeping the place clean.The location is great and right on the beach.The pool area too is very nice with plenty of sunbeds ( although some are in need of replacement) .The hotel is nudist but only from 0800 am to 8 pm .I don’t know why this is as it seems a tad odd .
In conclusion I will return next year but the management needs to invest in the hotel and improve the food offerings especially the evening meal.
