Airport Information - Arriving
Tribhuvan International Airport is the busiest airport in Nepal situated around 6 km from the city center of Kathmandu. The airport has two passenger terminals, one for domestic flights and the other for international operations. The easiest way to travel into the city is by taxi, although public buses are available if you are on a tight budget. Alternatively, car rental is an option. You’ll find all of the basics you would expect at the airport including a few snack bars and cafés as well as travel and gift shops. In the international terminal you can also find an airport lounge offering more comfortable surroundings. In addition to this, the airport provides travelers with free Wi-Fi access.

Abu Dhabi International Airport is 30 km from central Abu Dhabi and is comprised of three passenger terminals. If you want to use public transport to reach the airport you can catch the airport bus, while vehicle owners will find extensive parking at the airport. You won’t be short on activities at the airport as there are many different facilities and amenities. Along with many retail and designer shops, the airport offers extensive duty-free shopping and also provides plenty of restaurants, cafés and eateries for hungry passengers. Free Wi-Fi connectivity is provided for passengers and there are also several airport lounges available alongside other luxuries like rest zones and spa centers.

The weather in Kathmandu is warm for the majority of the year with average highs of approximately 28 degrees from April to September.
