Beijing Nanyuan Airport is Beijing’s secondary airport that is due to cease operating as a commercial airport once the new Beijing Daxing International Airport is finished. The airport offers everything you would need when it comes to shops and restaurants so you won’t be lacking in things to do. The most popular way to reach your destination from the airport is by taxi, although you will also find car rental companies if you want to use your own vehicle.
What to Expect in Chengdu
In Chengdu the weather is warm and pleasant for a lot of the year, although winters in the city can get fairly cold. Be advised that the city experiences a rainy season beginning in June and ending in September so be prepared for rain. You won’t need to obtain a visa when traveling between Beijing and Chengdu as it is a domestic route, but you will still need to show your passport in order to board your flight.
