Dubai International Airport is a large and modern airport serving over 83 million passengers a year. The airport has three passenger terminals – you can travel between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 on the Dubai Metro, while Terminal 2 is linked to the rest of the airport by a free shuttle bus. Once you have landed at Dubai International Airport you can swiftly journey into central Dubai on the Dubai Metro or flag down a taxi outside any of the terminals. Passengers waiting for flights at the airport can look forward to browsing through a huge range of shops including duty-free stores, while there are also a wide variety of eateries and cafes to help satisfy your appetite.

Airport Information - Departing

Beijing Capital International Airport is Beijing’s main international airport located 32km (20 miles) from the city. The airport has three passenger terminals including the new Terminal 3 which opened up in 2008, with all terminals linked by a shuttle bus service so you can easily make it to your terminal. Alongside a broad range of shops where you can get everything from duty-free goods to your travel essentials, the airport offers a variety of restaurants and other eateries so you won’t go hungry while you wait for your flight. The quickest way to reach the airport from central Beijing is on the Airport Express train service which takes just 30 minutes.

What to Expect in Dubai

In Dubai you can expect the weather to be hotter than Beijing no matter what time of year it is so make sure you are prepared for the heat. Chinese nationals are able to obtain a visa upon arrival in the country so you don’t need to worry about arranging one before you travel. Remember that Dubai is 4 hours behind Beijing so don’t forget to change your clocks when you land.
