If you are looking to fly directly you will need to depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport, with all flights arriving at Dubai International Airport. Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is the primary airport in Dubai and also one of the world’s busiest international airports. The airport has excellent connections to Dubai and the surrounding area including direct links to the Dubai metro network from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Alternatively, there are also buses available from the airport if you are on a tight budget, while plenty of taxis can be found waiting outside of all passenger terminals.
The airport itself is comprised of three passenger terminals and is known for its huge variety of facilities and amenities. Inside the airport travelers can look forward to browsing through many of the world’s leading designer brands alongside plenty more retail, fashion and duty-free stores. There are also a wide range of places to eat and drink, with everything from fast food to high-end restaurant cuisine available. Additional amenities available to travelers include free Wi-Fi, rest zones and numerous airport lounges offering comfort and luxury.
Airport Information - Departing
Suvarnabhumi Airport is a fairly new airport having opened up in 2006. It's located around 25 km from central Bangkok. There are plenty of ways to reach the airport from Bangkok including public transport for those on a tight budget. The quickest way to reach the airport is on the Airport Rail Link, which takes just 25 minutes from the city center, while there are also public bus services available. The airport itself is set within a very large passenger terminal and offers a wide selection of eateries, shops and other essential amenities, so you are sure to find everything you could possibly need.
