Airport Information - Arriving
Beijing Capital International Airport is the busiest airport in Beijing offering a blend of domestic and international flights. Beijing Nanyuan Airport is Beijing’s secondary airport that is due to cease operating as a commercial airport once the new Beijing Daxing International Airport is finished. The airport offers everything you would need when it comes to shops and restaurants so you won’t be lacking in things to do. The most popular way to reach your destination from the airport is by taxi, although you will also find car rental companies if you want to use your own vehicle.
Airport Information - Departing
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is Chengdu’s main airport located around 15km from the center of the city. The airport opened up its new Terminal 2 in 2012 which is twice as big as the older Terminal 1 and has helped the airport grow to become China’s fourth busiest. The airport offers all of the facilities and services you would expect whether its shops to look through or dining and drinking establishments to enjoy a meal or a drink whilst waiting for your flight. If you don’t want to drive or take a taxi you can use local buses which can take you right outside the airport terminals.
What to Expect in Beijing
