The main airport in Brisbane is Brisbane Airport, the third busiest in Australia serving around 22 million travelers annually. Emirates is the only airline offering flights from Dubai to Brisbane via Dubai International Airport, not to be mistaken with Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai's second airport.

Airport Information - Arriving
Brisbane Airport has two passenger terminals, one terminal for international flights and one for domestic operations. The International Terminal underwent significant renovation and development work which was completed in 2015, while the Domestic Terminal is due to benefit from such renovation work in the future. In addition to the two terminals, the airport is also home to the Skygate area, previously called the Airport Village, a large commercial area home to a wide selection of shops and restaurants. As well as the Skygate area, you will find many different shops to browse through or places to eat and drink in both terminals. Once you have got to the airport there are a number of ways for you to reach central Brisbane including on public transport. The most popular network is the Airtrain although there are also many buses departing from the Skygate complex.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is the main airport in Dubai with three passenger terminals. Getting to the airport is easy as Terminals 1 and 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, although in order to reach Terminal 2 you will need to hop on the free shuttle bus provided by the airport. At the airport you can find a huge selection of shops whether it’s the latest designer goods or duty free shopping, while the airport also boasts many different places to eat and drink. You may also want to wait for your flights somewhere more luxurious and exclusive at one of the many airport lounges available. Emirates flies to Brisbane from Terminal 3 at DXB.
What to Expect in Brisbane
In Brisbane you can expect to enjoy pleasant weather all year round, with the hottest period falling between November and March if you want to make the most of the sun. There are plenty of hotels in Brisbane to choose from, catering for every budget. Many nationals including those from the UAE can get an Electronic Visitor Visa before traveling in order to enter Australia. Remember that Brisbane is six hours ahead of Dubai so you will need to put your clocks forward once you land.
