When you have arrived at the airport, the easiest way to reach your destination is by taxi, with taxis charging fixed rates. However, there is also an airport bus available which will take less than an hour to reach central Bodrum. Additionally, travelers looking for their own vehicle will find a few car rental companies on site. While you wait for your flight at the airport you will be able to enjoy a good range of amenities and services. There are several places to eat and drink alongside duty-free shopping, or you can pass the time exploring the other retail and gift stores.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is the busiest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic and handled close to 90 million travelers in 2018. The airport consists of three passenger terminals and is situated only 5 km from central Dubai. You can reach the airport directly on the Dubai metro system or by bus if you don’t plan on taking a taxi. The airport is known for its world-class facilities and amenities so you won’t be bored as you wait for your flight to be called. Along with the wide range of designer, duty-free and retail stores on offer, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Other amenities available at the airport include free Wi-Fi access, many airport lounges and additional luxuries like spa centers, indoor gardens and rest zones.

Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport situated less than 40 km from the city. You can reach the airport via bus if you don’t plan on taking a taxi or driving yourself. The airport is set within a single terminal complex and offers everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. While options at the airport are not as extensive as those at Dubai International Airport, all of the essentials are still there including duty-free and other shopping, several cafés and eateries and other important facilities like free Wi-Fi access and airport lounges. The airport is still a project under development and will boast far more commercial options in the future.
