Muscat is served by Muscat International Airport, the primary airport in Oman. There are direct flights from Dubai to Muscat available provided by multiple airlines from Dubai International Airport. Currently it is possible to catch direct flights with Emirates, flydubai, Oman Air, SalamAir and Swiss International Air Lines. Currently there are no flights from Al Maktoum International Airport

Airport Information - Arriving
Muscat International Airport is Oman’s main airport situated around 30 km from Muscat itself, operating flights across Asia, Europe and Africa. The airport is made up of one new passenger terminal complex, Terminal 1, which opened up in March 2018 to replace the now unused Terminal 2 which has been earmarked to take on low-cost carrier flights. All of the amenities you would expect a large airport to have can be found at Muscat International Airport including duty-free shopping and many places to eat and drink.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s busiest and the main airport serving Dubai. Comprised of three passenger terminals, the airport offers world-class amenities and facilities such as designer stores, a wide selection of eateries and many prestigious airport lounges. Terminals 1 and 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, while those needing to get to Terminal 2 can use the free shuttle service which only takes 20 minutes.
Al Maktoum International Airport is relatively new having only opened up in 2010. Although the airport doesn’t operate too many flights at present, it is projected to take on more and more flights each year as it revs up to full capacity. The airport is part of the Dubai World Central development, a vast commercial and residential center. All the amenities you would need are available at the airport such as stores and restaurants to keep yourself busy during your wait.
What to Expect in Muscat
