Alternatively, there are charter flights to Moscow leaving from Al Maktoum International Airport with Azur Air, I-Fly, Nordwind and Ural Airlines. Aeroflot also operates a regular service from Al Maktoum International Airport to Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Airport Information - Arriving

Sheremetyevo International Airport is the busiest airport in Russia, situated around 30 km from central Moscow. This airport consists of four passenger terminals which are connected by shuttle buses so you can transfer between flights easily. At the airport there are a huge range of amenities available such as shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy.

Domodedovo International Airport is Moscow’s second airport serving over 30 million travelers a year. The airport is housed within a single-terminal complex with separate concourses for domestic and international flights. The airport offers all of the amenities you would expect of a modern airport including duty-free shopping and numerous places to eat, drink and refuel.

Vnukovo International Airport is the third airport serving Moscow handling around 18 million travelers a year. The airport has three passenger terminals, with the new Terminal A being the base of most international flights. At the airport you can find everything you would need such as cafes and eateries as well as a selection of stores.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s leading airports renowned for its wide selection of shops, restaurants and cafes. The airport itself is comprised of three passenger terminals which each offer everything you would need for a pleasant stay. Getting between terminals is simple and quick as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, although you will need to hop on the free shuttle bus service to get to Terminal 2.

Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s second airport that is not yet operating at full capacity. Despite this, the airport offers all of the amenities you would need including a number of stores and places to eat and drink. The airport is projected to be the world’s largest airport once the entire project is completed and will also boast a vast range of shops, restaurants and cafes.

What to Expect in Moscow

There are a wide variety of hotels in Moscow so you're sure to find something that suits your needs. Be prepared for bitterly cold temperatures over the winter in Moscow, although the climate can become pleasantly warm over the summer. Most visitors to Russia will be required to obtain a visa in advance before traveling and this includes UAE and most EU nationals. Moscow is an hour behind Dubai so remember to put back your clocks once you land.
