S7 Airlines, previously known as Siberia Airlines, is a Russian airline operating both domestic and international flights including flights to Dubai International Airport. From its two main hubs at Domodedovo International Airport and Tolmachevo Airport, S7 Airlines flies to 87 destinations including a large number of domestic airports, making it Russia’s largest domestic airline. Originally founded in 1992 under the name of Siberia Airlines, S7 Airlines is part of the Oneworld alliance and is headquartered in Novosibirsk, Russia.

How to Check in
Those flying with S7 Airlines are able to check-in online from the comfort of your computer, or you can do things the traditional way by checking in at an airport counter. For those looking to check-in online, the service is available from 30 hours up to 50 minutes before departure times and allows passengers to select a preferred seat and print off a boarding pass. However, be advised that not all airports support online check-ins. At the airport it is possible to check-in either by visiting a self-service kiosks or going to an S7 Airlines check-in desk. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before flights to ensure things progress smoothly as check-in counters close 40 minutes before flight departure times.
Baggage Allowances and Fees
S7 Airlines allow passengers to bring baggage to check-in as part of the fare, although your cabin class and fare type will determine how much you are allowed to bring. Those in Economy are allowed to check-in one bag up to 23kg, although passengers with an Economy Basic ticket are allowed hand baggage only. Those flying on a Business Basic fare can check-in one bag up to 32kg, while Business Flex travelers are allowed two bags up to 32kg each. If your baggage is over your allowance you will need to pay excess baggage fees which vary according to your destination. Economy passengers are also allowed one item of hand baggage up to 10kg, increased to 15kg in Business Class.
S7 Airlines flights offer a normal Economy Class alongside Business Class seating for those looking to travel in style. Legroom in Economy is fairly standard with a seat pitch of 30-35 inches, while in Business Class you can stretch out a bit more with a seat pitch of 32-40 inches. Those flying in Business Class will be sat in a private cabin at the front of the aircraft and can enjoy perks such as a special in-flight menu and a personalized service.
