The primary airport in Nairobi is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, situated just 15km from the city center. There are three airlines that fly from Dubai to Nairobi - African Express Airways, Emirates and Kenya Airways with all flights departing from Dubai International Airport and not Al Maktoum International Airport.

Airport Information - Arriving
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals - while Terminal 1 operates both domestic and international flights, the newer Terminal 2 is dedicated to low-cost carriers. Both terminals are connected together so you can transfer between terminals on foot. At the airport you can look forward to a range of restaurants, cafes and snack bars to enjoy a meal or a drink, while the airport is also home to a wide selection of retail stores in addition to duty-free shopping. Once you have landed it is possible to reach central Nairobi by public buses and shuttle buses, or you can just as easily hop in a taxi outside the Arrivals area.

Dubai International Airport is the main airport serving Dubai comprised of three passenger terminals. Getting to the airport is quick and easy as Terminals 1 and 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, although you will need to use a free shuttle bus in order to reach Terminal 2. There are many stores to browse through at the airport with everything from designer brands and luxury goods to basic travel essentials available, while the airport is also renowned for its vast duty-free shopping areas. At the airport there is also a wide selection of eateries and cafes to enjoy, or you may want to wait for flights in luxurious surroundings at one of the airport lounges available.
