Alternatively, taxis are readily available 24 hours a day and there are also several car rental agencies if you want your own vehicle. There are a huge range of shops available at the airport selling everything from the latest designer goods to duty-free products and souvenirs, while the airport is home to plenty of dining and drinking establishments. You can also enjoy many more luxuries on site including rest zones with sleeping pods, plenty of world-class airport lounges and free Wi-Fi access.

Phuket International Airport is made up of two passenger terminals, with Terminal 1 the base of most international flights. If you don’t want to pay for a private taxi to reach the airport, there is an airport bus running from central Phuket to the airport. All of the essential facilities and services you would need can be found at the airport, although options are fairly limited compared to larger international airports. However, you can still choose from a few different restaurants and cafés and there are also several travel and gift shops as well as duty-free shopping.
