Trabzon Airport is located less than 10 km from Trabzon and is set within a single passenger terminal complex which is split into a domestic area and an international area. Istanbul Airport is the primary airport in Istanbul and also the busiest in Turkey situated around 20 km from the city. The airport is fairly new and offers a good range of facilities and services for travelers to look forward to. Along with many different restaurants and cafés serving up cuisine from all around the world, the airport offers extensive retail, designer and duty-free shopping as well as additional amenities like free Wi-Fi access and many airport lounges. The airport is currently linked to the local bus network and will in the future benefit from its own metro station.

Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport is Istanbul’s secondary airport located around 35 km from the city. There are both bus and ferry services available from Istanbul to reach the airport if you don’t want to take a taxi. Although the options at the airport are not as extensive as Istanbul Airport, you will still find everything you would need including restaurants, stores and cafés.
