Islamabad International Airport is situated around 20 km from Islamabad and opened up in 2018 to replace the older Benazir Bhutto International Airport. The airport offers plenty of facilities and services for travelers to look forward to and will have the capacity to handle around 25 million passengers each year. Hungry travelers can head to the food court area which boasts plenty of options, while there are also many retail and duty-free stores open. When you have landed at the airport you can flag down a taxi outside of the terminal to reach Islamabad – however, make sure you catch one of the licensed taxis to get a fair price.

Airport Information - Departing

Jinnah International Airport is Karachi’s primary airport situated around 20 km from the city. The airport is housed within a single passenger terminal which is split into two sections, East and West. The majority of international flights will depart out of the East section, while those on domestic flights will be based out of the West section. If you don’t want to drive or take a taxi to the airport, there are public buses running from the city. The airport itself offers a good range of services and facilities for passengers to enjoy. There are plenty of dining and drinking choices available in the form of fast food chains and cafés, while there are also a few travel and convenience shops for your essentials. You may also consider staying in one of the airport lounges for a more exclusive experience.
