Airport Information - Arriving

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports made up of three passenger terminals. When you have arrived at the airport there are excellent transportation links with the surrounding area including public transport. One of the easiest ways to travel into the city is to hop on the Dubai metro network which is directly connected to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while those in Terminal 2 can use the free shuttle bus service provided to reach other terminals. Taxis are also available 24/7 outside passenger terminals so you can conveniently reach your destination directly.

Dubai International Airport is known for its huge variety of facilities and amenities, with travelers able to browse through the latest designer goods, pick up some duty-free goods or select from one of the many restaurants and cafés available. Additional facilities available to travelers include complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and many other luxuries like airport lounges and rest zones.

Airport Information - Departing

Muscat International Airport is the main airport in Oman located roughly 30 km from the capital Muscat. Previously comprised of just a single terminal, the airport has recently opened up a brand-new terminal in 2018. Inside the new terminal you will find a sizable range of facilities and amenities to meet your needs. Alongside many leading cafés and restaurants, duty-free shopping is available as well as other facilities like children’s play areas, complimentary Wi-Fi and a few airport lounges. There are a few ways that you can reach the airport from central Muscat including by public bus which stops a short walk from the terminal.

What to Expect in Dubai

There are a wide variety of hotels in Dubai so you're sure to find something that suits your needs. In Dubai the climate is similar to that in Muscat with extremely hot summers and warm winter periods and very little rainfall throughout the year. Omani nationals traveling to Dubai do not need to worry about a visa, but will need to show a national ID card. Many other nationals are also permitted visa-free access to Dubai including almost all EU citizens.
