Milan Malpensa Airport is the primary airport in Milan made up of two passenger terminals. You can conveniently travel into the center of using the Malpensa Express train network or transfer between terminals on the free shuttle bus provided by the airport. The airport offers a huge range of world-class shops and duty-free shopping alongside many different places to eat and drink, so you’re sure to find plenty of things to do while you wait to board your flight.

Milan Bergamo Airport is located around 45 km from the center of Milan and is comprised of a single passenger terminal. There are public buses available that can take you into Milan if you would rather not pay for a taxi due to the long distance. Renting a car in Milan is also an option. The airport is relatively small but offers everything you would need including restaurants and cafés so you won’t be short on things to do.

Airport Information - Departing

Sheremetyevo International Airport is the busiest airport in Moscow located roughly 30 km from the city. The quickest way to get to the airport from Moscow is on the Aeroexpress train, although buses available if you would prefer. You can find a wide range of amenities and services at the airport to keep you happy. Alongside a wide range of restaurants, cafés and shops, the airport provides free Wi-Fi for travelers.

Domodedovo International Airport is Moscow’s second airport which is also linked to the Aeroexpress network so you can easily travel to the airport in no time. The airport itself is comprised of a single passenger terminal and offers all of the facilities and services you would need including restaurants, shops and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The third busiest airport in Moscow is Vnukovo International Airport which is made up of three passenger terminals and offers a comprehensive range of services and amenities. As well as a decent selection of shops, restaurants and cafés, the airport provides complimentary Wi-Fi for travelers so you won’t be bored while you wait for your flight.

What to Expect in Milan

Although summer temperatures in Milan and Moscow are not too dissimilar, you can expect the weather to be a lot warmer if you are visiting over the winter compared to the freezing temperatures in Moscow. Be advised that Russian nationals will need to acquire a visa in order to travel to Italy, while UAE nationals can enter on a visa free basis for a period of up to 90 days.
