Arriving in Budapest
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is the busiest airport in Hungary located around 15 km from Budapest. The airport is currently comprised of two operational terminals as Terminal 1 is out of use for the foreseeable future and is also home to the Sky Court center which connects the two terminals. When you have arrived at the airport there are plenty of transportation options available including buses or trains to get into Budapest, so you don’t have to rely on a taxi. Car rental in Budapest is also an option. The airport offers a wide range of shops and restaurants, many of which are located in the Sky Court center, but you can still find plenty of amenities in either terminal.

Budapest Travel Information
As Hungary is an EU member state and a part of the Schengen Area, UAE nationals don’t need to worry about getting a visa to travel to Budapest. The city can get quite busy during the peak tourism months from June to August, so you may want to visit either side of this period to enjoy warmer weather without the crowds. Remember that Hungary does not use the Euro as its currency unlike most EU member states, so make sure you change up your money to the correct currency – the Hungarian forint.
