Why Fly with Wizz Air

How To Check In

Passengers on Wizz Air flights are able to check-in online on most flights, although in some airports this privilege is not available. The online check-in service is available from 14 days up to 3 hours before flight departure times. Travelers will need to be able to print off a boarding pass in order to board a flight. For airports where online check-in is not available, you will need to check-in the old fashioned way at a Wizz Air check-in counter. Be advised that checking in at the airport incurs an additional fee - the fee is cheaper if paid at the moment of booking at around 40AED*, while at the airport the fee will be double at 80AED*. However, you will not need to pay this fee if your airport does not support online check-ins.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Wizz Air allow passengers to take one item of hand baggage on board flights which must not exceed 42cm x 32cm x 25cm. Travelers are also allowed to check-in baggage for an additional fee which varies according to your flight route. Passengers should be advised that purchasing baggage online is a lot cheaper, although it is still possible to do at the airport. There is a maximum weight limit of 32kg for each item of checked baggage. Passengers with priority boarding are also entitled to bring one personal item such as a handbag on board free of charge.

Passengers have the option to purchase seats with extra legroom or to be at the front of the queue to board the aircraft as seats are taken on a first-come first-serve basis. Regular seats on board Wizz Air flights offer ample legroom with a seat pitch of 30-32 inches. On board flights passengers are able to purchase snacks and beverages as well as alcoholic drinks.

Booking Fees

Other than an administration fee of around 28AED*, those booking with Wizz Air do not need to pay any hidden charges.
