Georgia has three primary passenger airports, the busiest of which is Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport serving over 1.5 million passengers each year. The two other airports in the country are Kutaisi International Airport which is just outside of the city of Kutaisi, the second biggest city in Georgia, and Batumi International Airport. Many airlines provide cheap flights to Georgia at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport from various destinations around the world including Dubai, Amsterdam and Vienna. The summers in the country can be warm for those wishing to explore the outdoors, whilst visitors interested in winter activities are advised to visit between December and February.

Georgia Visa Policy

Visitors to Georgia are required to get a visa in order to enter the country except for citizens of countries on the exemption list. A large number of countries are exempt from requiring visas including all EU citizens, UAE nationals and over 30 other countries all around the world. Nationals of these countries are able to visit Georgia for up to a year without a visa. The national currency of Georgia is the Georgian lari, although other currencies including US dollars and Euros are widely accepted throughout the country.
