If you want to come back to civilization you can head into the capital Nuuk which is home to a few fascinating museums like the National Museum of Greenland as well as plenty of interesting events over the course of the year like the Nuuk Marathon each August.
Arriving In Greenland
The busiest airport in Greenland is Kangerlussuaq Airport, one of only two airports in the country which can handle large airliners, the other being Narsarsuaq Airport. If you are looking to book flights from the UAE to Greenland, you will not be able to make the journey directly as there are no direct flights available. However, a number of airports in the country have connections from Copenhagen Airport, enabling UAE-based travelers to make the trip with only a single transfer.
Kangerlussuaq Airport is a relatively small airport and offers very little in terms of amenities and facilities. When you have arrived at the airport, there are taxis available just outside the terminal building which can take you where you need to. Narsarsuaq Airport is just as small and also provides only the very basics when it comes to amenities and services. Your best method of getting around when arriving in Greenland is to hop in a taxi just outside of your airport as public transport is limited.

Greenland Travel Information
UAE nationals traveling to Greenland will be able to enter the country on a visa free basis for up to 90 days. Be advised that the weather in Greenland is freezing for most of the year, so you will need to bring thick winter clothing with you in order to stay warm. Even over the summer you can only expect average highs of around 10 degrees, so you will still need to wrap up. Remember that in Greenland the currency used is the Danish krone, while the country is seven hours behind the UAE.
