Arriving In Kenya
The primary airport in Kenya is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport which is situated around 15 km away from the center of Nairobi. The airport handles direct flights from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so UAE-based travelers can easily make the journey without needing to make a stopover. Currently it is possible to fly out of Dubai with African Express Airways, Emirates and Kenya Airways, while those departing from Abu Dhabi will be able to make the journey with Etihad Airways. When you have arrived at the airport that are plenty of taxis available just outside of the arrival section, although if you are on a budget you can find shuttle and public buses to travel into Nairobi.

If you plan on visiting the city of Mombasa, it is possible to travel directly from the UAE rather than landing at Nairobi. It is possible to fly directly to Mombasa out of Dubai, with all flights handled by RwandAir out of Dubai International Airport. Moi International Airport is situated less than 10 km away from the center of Mombasa and consists of a domestic terminal and an international terminal. When you have arrived at the airport, your best option to travel into the center of Mombasa is to hop in a taxi which will take you to your destination directly.

Kenya Travel Information
As a UAE national traveling to Kenya, you will be able to arrange an e-visa before your journey in order to enter the country. Although you can expect warm weather in Kenya throughout the year, the climate can differ depending on where you visit, with coastal cities such as Mombasa seeing hotter and humid weather compared to the rest of the country. Be advised that there is a lengthy rainy season in the country beginning in April and ending in June, while there is also another brief rainy season from October to December.
