Arriving In Vietnam

Vietnam is served by a number of airports, although only a few handle a large quantity of international flights. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Vietnam, it is possible to travel directly to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

If you are looking to book flights to Ho Chi Minh City, it will be possible to fly out of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. If you are coming from Dubai you will be able to make the trip with Emirates from Dubai International Airport, while those in Abu Dhabi can make the journey with Etihad Airways. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals, with Terminal 2 the home of international flights. When you have landed at the airport, taxis are your most convenient option to reach your destination, although there are also local buses available if you are on a budget.

Those traveling to Hanoi from the UAE will be able to fly from Dubai. Currently Emirates is the only carrier providing flights from the UAE, with all flights departing from Dubai International Airport. Noi Bai International Airport is the second busiest airport in Vietnam comprised of two passenger terminals. If you are visiting the south of the country, you can expect a rainy season beginning in June and ending in November, while in the north of the country the summer period is the wettest. Remember that in Vietnam the time is three hours ahead of the UAE, so don’t forget to put your clocks forward when you have arrived.
