Shahjalal International Airport is the busiest airport serving Bangladesh, located less than 20 km from the city center of Dhaka. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals, with international flights handled in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Domestic flights are handled at Terminal 3, while plans are under way to construct an additional international terminal. When you have arrived at the airport, the best way to reach your destination is to hop in a taxi, although there are car rental services available at the airport if you need your own vehicle. Options are fairly limited at the airport but you’ll find all of the essentials available including duty-free shopping, a few travel and gift stores and a couple of cafés and eateries.

Abu Dhabi International Airport is located 30 km from Abu Dhabi and is set across three passenger terminals. The airport is the second busiest in the UAE and handles around 25 million travelers each year. If you don’t plan on taking a taxi or driving to the airport, you can catch the bus service which goes from central Abu Dhabi to the airport. You won’t be short on things to do at the airport as there are many different retail, designer and duty-free stores to explore along with several restaurants, cafés and other eateries to choose from. If you would prefer, there are several world-class airport lounges where you can wait for your flights in luxury, while travelers will be able to connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network.
