The most popular way for travelers to get to their destination once they have touched down at the airport is by taxi as the center of the city is only 15 km away. If you're planning to explore the country you could also rent a car in Muscat. During your time at the airport you will find everything you would need including a variety of shops and duty-free stores alongside plenty of places to eat and drink. You can also stay connected with free Wi-Fi provided by the airport or spend your time in one of the airport lounges.

Airport Information - Departing

Birmingham Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals which are connected, so if you arrive at the wrong terminal you can easily make the switch. If you would rather avoid taking a taxi to the airport, you can get there by bus or rail from central Birmingham. Once you have arrived at the airport there are various things to do including many shops, restaurants and cafés, while you can also benefit from free Wi-Fi.
