Dubai International Airport is a large and modern airport ranking as the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passengers each year, with close to 90 million passengers processed in 2018. The airport has three passenger terminals which you can easily transfer between – while Terminals 1 and 3 are part of the Dubai Metro, those needing to reach Terminal 2 can use the free shuttle bus. There are a large number of places available to have a meal or a quick snack so you won’t be short on options, while there are also a wealth of shopping available including duty-free stores, designer and luxury brands and miscellaneous stores to get all your travel essentials.

Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport and is situated around 40 km from the city center. There is a public bus service running from the airport into Dubai and taxis are readily available to take you where you need to go. The airport doesn’t offer quite so many amenities as Dubai International Airport but still provides everything you would need including duty-free shopping and plenty of cafes and eateries.
