Beirut Airport has one passenger terminal that is split into three areas which are each interconnected with one another and easily traversable on foot. The Main Terminal section is made up of four floors: the Departures hall is on the second floor, while the Arrivals area is found on the ground level. The terminal also has an East Wing and a West Wing to extend its passenger capacity.

Within Beirut Airport there are many great facilities for passengers to look forward to including airport lounges such as the Cedar Lounge, numerous cafés and restaurants and extensive duty free shopping in the main terminal section. Getting from Beirut Airport to the center of the city is possible through licensed taxis and private bus services.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s leading airports offering a vast range of facilities and amenities for travelers including world-class shops, restaurants and airport lounges. The airport is comprised of 3 different terminals linked by a free bus shuttle and the Dubai Metro network for passengers needing to transfer between terminals.

Those flying with Emirates to Beirut will depart from Terminal 3, a terminal dedicated solely to Emirates flights. Middle East Airline flights tend to go from Terminal 1, the largest terminal in the airport, whilst Terminal 2 is the main hub of flydubai and all of their flights. Although Terminal 1 and 3 are linked together by a complimentary shuttle bus service, those needing to get to Terminal 2 can hop in a taxi or use the Dubai Metro service.

What to Expect in Beirut

The weather in Beirut remains consistently warm all year round, although it does rain a lot more often during the winter months between December and February. Compared to Dubai, the temperature in Beirut is slightly cooler but still very warm, especially during the summer months.
