Frankfurt Airport is Germany’s busiest and Europe’s fourth busiest airport serving close to 70 million travelers every year. Emirates and Lufthansa offer direct flights from Dubai to Frankfurt. Be aware that both flight routes depart from Dubai International Airport and not Al Maktoum International Airport.

Airport Information - Arriving
Frankfurt Airport is only 12 km from the center of the city and is connected by public transport networks including the S-Bahn. The airport consists of two passenger terminals in addition to a small First Class terminal used by Lufthansa. At Frankfurt Airport travelers can look forward to a wide range of amenities whether it’s duty-free shopping and travel stores or enjoying a bite to eat at a restaurant or café. There are also many other amenities available at the airport including unlimited free Wi-Fi and numerous luxurious airport lounges. While the quickest route into central Frankfurt is on the S-Bahn, it is also possible to hop on a public bus, rent a car or hail down a taxi just outside the airport.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is Dubai’s main airport and also the world’s busiest in terms of international passenger traffic. At the airport there are a large number of amenities which includes countless retail and designer stores as well as duty-free shopping. You can also choose from many different eateries and cafes ranging from high-end restaurants to fast food and snacks. If you prefer to wait for your flights somewhere more exclusive, the airport is home to many different lounges offering luxurious surroundings. The airport itself is made up of three passenger terminals which are all very easy to travel between. Getting to the airport is possible on the Dubai Metro which stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while Terminal 2 is linked to the rest of the airport by a free shuttle bus. If you are traveling with Lufthansa you will be based at Terminal 1, while Emirates flights are handled at Terminal 3.
