Lanseria International Airport is a private airport located just outside of Johannesburg operating flights to domestic destinations in South Africa. The airport was initially a small grass strip airport in the 1970s before undergoing development work recently. Comprised of a single passenger terminal, the airport is relatively small but still offers a surprising number of amenities and facilities to keep travelers happy. Alongside a decent selection of shops which includes duty free shopping, the airport is home to a few different places to eat and drink including cafes and restaurants.
