You can connect to the airport from Istanbul by bus, while the airport will eventually have its own metro station too.

Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport is Istanbul’s second airport located around 30 km from the city center. The airport is set within a single passenger terminal and provides all of the basic facilities and services you would expect. Along with all the usual shops, cafés and eateries, you can do some duty-free shopping during your stay and connect to the airport Wi-Fi service. The airport has public transport links to central Istanbul so you don’t need to take a taxi.
