How to Check in

Those flying with Royal Brunei are able to check-in online or do things the old fashioned way by checking in at the airport. Those checking in online can do so from 48 hours up to 1 hour before scheduled flight departure times and allows passengers to save time by beating the queues. After checking in online, passengers can visit a Royal Brunei online check-in counter at the airport to receive a boarding pass and drop off any baggage at least 1 hour before the flight, or you may want to print off your boarding pass at home in order to save even more time.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Royal Brunei offers all passengers the right to check-in baggage as part of the fare in addition to hand baggage that can be taken on board. All passengers flying in Economy Class are entitled to bring up to 23kg of baggage, while Business Class passengers can check-in up to 40kg. Travelers should be advised that no single item of baggage can exceed 32kg in order to comply with international regulations. Economy flyers are also entitled to bring one item of hand baggage on board not exceeding 7kg or 55cm x 38cm x 20cm, while those in Business Class are permitted two items not exceeding 12kg in total.

Seating

Passengers flying with Royal Brunei can opt for standard Economy Class seating or upgrade to the luxury of Business Class. All travelers are able to purchase a preferred seat before boarding for an additional fee, the prices of which vary according to the length of the flight. For example, a preferred seat on a flight to Dubai will cost 140AED. Gold and Silver members of the Royal Skies frequent flyer program are able to select a preferred seat at no additional cost. Seat selection is available up to 3 days before flights, while passengers can also select seating during the online check-in process.
