Airport Information - Arriving
Eduardo Gomes International Airport is a single terminal airport that recently benefited from extensive renovation and expansion work in 2013. Once your flight has touched down at the airport, the most convenient way to travel into the city is by taxi, although there are public buses available if you are on a budget. Alternatively, you may consider renting a car in Manaus. The airport itself offers a decent range of amenities and services to ensure your needs are met. As well as duty-free shopping and a range of other souvenir and travel shops, you can find a few cafés, eateries and fast food outlets to grab something to eat. You can also benefit from free Wi-Fi at the airport to keep up to date with family and colleagues.
Airport Information - Departing
Galeao International Airport is Rio de Janeiro’s busiest airport comprised of two passenger terminals. There are a number of bus routes available that can take you from central Rio de Janeiro to the airport if you would rather not make the 20 km journey by taxi. Once you are the airport you can find everything you would need including duty-free and retail shopping as well as plenty of restaurants and cafés to satisfy your appetite. The airport also offers many more amenities such as free Wi-Fi for up to an hour and numerous airport lounges.

Situated in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, Manaus stays hot throughout the year with highs around the low 30s to be expected. The city also sees a lot of rainfall with an extended rainy season beginning in November and finishing in May.
