About Azul Airlines
Azul Airlines, also known as Azul Brazilian Airlines, is a low-cost airline from Brazil and the country’s third largest operating cheap flights primarily across the Americas. The airline has three operating hubs situated at Tancredo Neves International Airport, Viracopos International Airport and Recife International Airport and flies to over 100 destinations with a large fleet of 125 aircraft. Despite its considerable size, Azul Airlines was only established recently in 2008 by the founder of JetBlue and has grown significantly over the years. Loyal passengers with Azul Airlines are able to become a part of TudoAzul, the airline’s frequent flyer program.

How to Check in
Passengers catching a flight with Azul Airlines can check in the traditional way at the airport. While checking in online is not currently available for Azul Airlines flights, the airline may choose to introduce this feature in the near future. The airline advises all travelers to get to the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled departure times and to head to an Azul Airlines check in counter right away. Make sure you remember to bring your booking reference number to speed up the check in process.
Baggage Allowances and Fees
Azul Airlines travelers are allowed to bring baggage to check in as part of the fare, although how much you can bring will depend on your destination. On international flights Economy travelers can bring two bags up to 32kg, while in Business Class this is increased to three bags. For all other flights passengers are entitled to bring checked baggage up to 23kg. In addition to this, international travelers are allowed carry-on baggage up to 5kg, while on other flights this is increased to 10kg. On Board Service
Passengers on board international flights with Azul Airlines can look forward to a range of on board services including delicious meals and refreshments as part of the fare. In Business Class you can enjoy a premium menu and sip on champagne, while in Economy a variety of beverages can be enjoyed alongside a tasty meal. If you have special dietary requirements then you will need to contact the airline up to 48 hours in advance of your flight to make arrangements.
Booking Fees
A small surcharge is added to your booking when purchasing flights with Azul Airlines. On domestic flights a fee of 20AED* each way is payable, while on international flights this fee is increased to 75AED* each way.
