The property is a 100-year-old staple of St. Thomas, USVI. originally owned by the infamous Christine “Cee Cee” Cromwell, legendary heiress to the Dodge Motor Company, who established the property and ran the Mahogany Jazz Club in the 1950s. She later sold the property to another prominent businesswoman who added the hotel and ran it until she was 88 years old. The current owners acquired the property in 2021.
